Meet the Advisory Board at Gold West Africa
Jerry Ahadjie is a mining specialist with the African Natural Resources Centre of the African Development Bank. He has over 20 years of research, policy analysis and mineral sector regulatory experience in with the Ghana Minerals Commission where he rose to the position of Deputy Manager in charge of Sectoral Policy, Planning, and Projects.
Jerry’s work experience includes; profiling mineral resource development into national and regional development plans, mining and alternative livelihoods, technical assistance to small scale miners, regulation of exploration and mining companies, mining sector project design and implementation and risk policy analysis.
Areas of professional interest include; mining and climate change, automation in mining, mineral resource accounting, development of linkages in the mining sector and mineral policy design. He has authored a number of publications. He holds an MSc in Mineral Exploration (GIS Based) from the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
